«Pulses» start to perform operations for Egyptian children



The medical team of the Pulse Initiative, established by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority, has begun operations for Egyptian children to treat birth defects in Egypt's second campaign until September 25. 100 different processes for sick children.

The medical team – with 30 medical and administrative cadres – arrived in Cairo yesterday, including directly to the teaching hospital in the city of Kafr El-Sheikh in the north of Egypt in the Nile Delta region to carry out this humanitarian mission.

Counselor of His Highness the ruler of Dubai for humanitarian and cultural affairs and vice-chairman of the board of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the charitable and humanitarian foundation, adviser Ibrahim Boumelha, said this campaign is the second of a heartbeat initiative in Egypt.

The Foundation covers all costs of the operations to be performed within the visit of the medical team and provides all the logistical support necessary for the success of the task of the medical team, which cooperates with the DHA in the preparation and composition and selection of frameworks with high medical skills and excellence in this area in the treatment of as many children as Egyptians in the period from 17 to 25 September.

Boumelha explained that the Egyptian Pulse Campaign is aimed at the treatment of 100 Egyptian children with congenital defects, generally aimed at the needy classes who are unable to pay for the expensive treatment of such operations. Patients do not pay any costs for the operations or during their recovery period After the operations.
