# UAE rehabilitates the oldest schools in Abyan



UAE Red Crescent representative Saeed Al Ali and Governor of Abyan Province Major General Abu Bakr Hussain today opened high school in Zanzibar after having been rehabilitated with Emirati funding.

The governor of Abyan praised the rapid completion of the team of the UAE Crescent, and addressed the students who said: We were in these secondary months ago and were partially destroyed by the war and today we give you this new high school with all the accessories .

The representative of the UAE Red Crescent, Saeed Al Ali, delivered a speech in which he presented the greetings of his Highness Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the people of the Abyan Governorate and their families, the emergency relief campaign launched by His Highness for the poorest families in the next six months.

In addition to rehabilitating high school in Siddiq, the classrooms were fully equipped and the school bag was distributed to all 440 students.

The UAE Red Crescent Society distributed food packages to the 52 teachers.
