Saif bin Zayed discusses joint programs with Israel’s Homeland Security Minister – in the Emirates – news and reports



Yesterday, a hypothetical meeting took place between Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, and Amir Ohana, Israeli Homeland Security Minister, to strengthen ties of cooperation between the two countries in the as part of efforts to activate the Abrahamic agreement.

Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed with Ohana joint programs and projects between the two ministries, including programs to combat sexual exploitation of children in collaboration with the United Nations and the private and public sector, innovative technology projects, programs related to combating transnational crime and other development programs in the civil protection sector.

In their talks, the two ministers focused on the need to support the economic and tourism sectors of the two countries by developing joint services focused on the security and safety of the two countries’ societies.

The two ministers agreed at the meeting to form a joint team to work on the implementation of joint programs and projects in preparation for their future launch.
