Stormy Daniels: I wanted to apologize for the non-appearance of CBB, but I was not allowed to

Stormy Daniels said she apologized to viewers that she did not appear on Celebrity Big Brother, but was blocked to do so.

The American adult film star, who became famous after President Donald Trump after an alleged affair, also said she was offered a "lot of money" to participate.

In a pre-recorded interview on Loose Women from ITV, days after her original appearance on the show was pulled at the last minute, Daniels said: "It started a while back when I was first approached about doing Big Brother.

"Full disclosure, I did not really know what I was getting into. I had never seen the show."

She said that the first offer to participate in the show was "crazy" and "very tempting" before she realized that she would not be able to "keep doing so long" because of ongoing lawsuits with Mr. Trump and his former lawyer Michael Cohen.

Daniels, 39, said that her deal for CBB was then "renegotiated a week for a significantly smaller sum than is reported".

It was generally reported that Daniels had offered £ 750,000 to appear in the series.

She added: "As everyone knows, I am going through a divorce and custody stuff.

"I was not sure if I would come because there were some problems, but I flew over (and) had the plan that I wanted to work with producers and tried to reach an agreement that was beneficial to both of us.

"I came by and personally apologized to the British public and the producers at the live taping and see what we could do."

She said she did the "pre-tapings" for CBB, and added: "Then I was told that there was a development in my care, I was very honest, which I think was my mistake, I told the truth, to the producers that I was uncomfortable to spend the night at home. & # 39;

Daniels said she wanted to be able to talk to her daughter, and that "a mother is, comes first".

"But I wanted to work with them," she added.

"I wanted to go to the live show, because I knew there was an audience, apologizing, explaining myself, seeing what could happen and there is a crazy rumor that I wanted more money, actually I gave my full compensation early on that it was donated to charity, so that's just crazy.

"Instead, they did not want me to do the live show, said if I came the next morning, what would have been this morning (Friday, August 17) and would spend the whole day, that I would end that day with a diary, video item (in the diary room) and explain to me that way and they would give my daily rate to a charity. "

Daniels said there was an "agreement" and that she would return to the show a few times "without compensation or against a donated amount" while doing charitable work in the UK.

"I thought it was a great way to save a part of the show, explain it personally, apologize in person, not disappoint the British fans and above all I just wanted to do something nice and donate to a number of charities. "

When asked what happened next, Daniels said: "That's the right question.

"We agreed, the live show started, I stayed at the hotel.

"They came back a few hours later and said: & # 39; You go or continue and stay in the house, follow the contract until a & # 39; T & # 39; or we deport you at 6 o'clock in the morning & # 39 ;. "

Channel 5 said in a statement to the show: "Stormy Daniels had to appear on the show a few months ago.

"A few hours before the show went live, she informed the production team that she no longer wanted to enter the house as previously agreed.

"Producers discussed different options with her, but could not agree on acceptable conditions to enter the house.

"Reports that Stormy asked for more money are completely incorrect."

Daniels claims she had sex with Mr Trump in 2006 when he was married, which he denied.

She challenges Mr. Trump and his former old personal lawyer, Mr. Cohen, and attempts to invalidate a confidentiality statement signed on the day before the 2016 presidential election.

When asked if she feels that her life is threatened, she said: "My answer to that question will change daily.

"Some days I can slip away and go about my day and I feel almost a minute normal and then I look around and I have two big bodyguards behind me. Another day I get crazy e-mail and death threats."

She added that she thinks Mr Trump is a "man in his head".
