Strictly Come Dancing participant Katie, 34, wore a cuddly top while sitting in her office to update her fans of her dance skills.
She told the camera: "So I just came in from my first day of Strictly rehearsals, I had to go to the office to work … in my very messy office."
Speaking of her efforts, she said: "But yes, today was interesting … I knew I was not a very good dancer, but I forgot how bad I really am.
"So today was fun, but very revealing about my skills and levels, I have a lot of work to do."
The TV presenter also provided insight into the first day of the cast by filming some of them during their break.
She sat next to Ashley Roberts, Kate Silverton and Susannah Constantine and filmed the quartet that was brought to lunch.
She said to the camera, "So we are at our lunch break at Strictly," before Kate Silverton asked her, "Are we still alive?"
Susannah added: "This is the worst thing I've ever done in my life, what a nightmare."
Earlier this month Katie was announced as the first celebrity to participate in the BBC show line-up.
The entry of the blonde beauty was revealed at BBC Breakfast by hostesses Dan Walker and Louise Minchin, who questioned her about her ideal dance partner.
In the beginning a bit nervous, she asked the hosts: "May I say who I want?"
Urged to spill the beans, Katie revealed: "I would like to enter into a partnership with Giovanni [Pernice].
"But I have absolutely no influence on that! So, Giovanni, if you look, I'll come for you."
Then joked: "Hopefully we'll get you back on the couch with your partner, maybe Giovanni, later in the series."
Giovanni, 27, discovered that Katie would like to dance with him on Twitter and go to her request.
A fan wrote earlier: "So @KatiePiper_ says at @ BBCOb Breakfast that she would like to work with @ pernicegiovann1.The lady has a good taste."
"Let's see," Giovanni replied, adding several emoji's and one of a man shrugging his shoulders.
In the run-up to rehearsals Katie will admit that ballroom dancing will be difficult because of the results of an acid attack that her ex-boyfriend has arranged in 2008.
She told The Daily Mirror: "The respiratory problem makes training a little more difficult.
"I have tried to practice a few steps and can not really pull my head back because of a strip of scar tissue that starts on the crown of my head.
"Everyone will be like:" Why does she pull that funny face? "And I will say, & # 39; No, that's my face! & # 39;"
