A 29-year-old man is charged after a metal bar attack on a woman in Ballycastle.
The 27-year-old victim suffered a number of injuries after being attacked with a metal bar on Fairhead Street around 1.45 am on Sunday morning.
Police of the Public Protection Branch of PSNI investigates the incident and has lodged an appeal for witnesses.
They would like to speak to three men who are thought to have been in the area at that time.
The police can be contacted at the non-emergency number 101, mentioning the reference 189 with the date 19 / 08/2018.
