Today developer IO Interactive and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a brand new Hitman 2 teaser trailer that reveals and teases one of the new locations of the game, Columbia.
Dubbed, "Welcome to the Jungle," the new trailer confirms that the location will embrace the rich and dangerous rainforests of Colombia instead of focusing on one of the distinctive and vibrant cities such as the capital, Bogota.
IO Interactive delivers the following elevator pitch at the location:
"This new setting will put players right in the heart of a dark and dangerous South American rainforest, giving Agent 47 a huge variety of different canvases to carry out its deadly missions – a truly living, breathing jungle environment with threats lurking around every corner, Colombia will offer a unique gameplay experience with multiple paths to explore, unprecedented game depth and countless interactive opportunities for players. "
The trailer does not reveal anyway, but presumably the Colombian jungle location will have something to do with the cartel and the large amounts of drugs – cocaine in particular – that are moved by the nation and hidden under the luxuriant canopy. .
The confirmation from Colombia may add even more validity to a previous leak that has spilled all the locations of the game. Such locations are the already revealed Miami and Colombia, as well as India, New Zealand, somewhere in the North Sea and a suburb in the United States.
