Earlier this year, Sony debuted with the Xperia XZ2 Premium. It was a radical departure from the design of previous Sony phones, but it was not very well received. The smooth and heavy frame made it difficult to hold and the location of the strange fingerprint sensor was not ideal. We have known that there would be a lower version of the XZ2 Premium, and now we have our first look at it.

MySmartPrice has leaked an image of the Sony Xperia XZ3 and it looks almost identical to the XZ2 Premium. The main difference is that the XZ3 has only one camera on the back, while the XZ2 Premium has two. The fingerprint sensor is unfortunately still in the dead point.

There are no specifications confirmed in the leak, but assuming the past it is safe to assume that the XZ3 has a Snapdragon 845 processor with (at least) 4 GB of RAM. A screen of 1080p or 1440p is probably because 4K screens have remained exclusive to the Premium series so far. The XZ2 last year was initially $ 799.99 in the United States, so expect similar prices with the XZ3.
