Manchester United news and transfers RECAP Ronaldo to Man Utd plus Pogba to Madrid last

Manchester United will be without Luke Shaw for a month after scans revealed the extent of the hamstring injury he sustained in the win over Everton.

The left back set up Bruno Fernandes for United’s equalizer at Goodison Park, but was out of the game midway through the second half and will now be sidelined until December at the earliest.

Shaw is expected to miss Premier League matches against West Brom, Southampton and West Ham, as well as Champions League clashes with Istanbul Basaksehir, Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig as he recovers from the setback.

Marcus Rashford suffered a late shoulder injury at Goodison Park, while Victor Lindelof has suffered persistent back pain so far this season.

Both are still ready to connect with their country later this week, although Rashford will need to be reassessed before a final decision is made on whether to go to St George’s Park on Thursday morning.
