Summary after passengers evacuated from broken train



Rail services in Cornwall are canceled and delayed if passengers are evacuated from a broken train.

Network Rail issued the warning after the train between Truro and Penzance was broken, although it did not give an exact location. It said that the services can be canceled or postponed for up to an hour. He hoped that the services would be normal by about 7 PM.

A passenger who asked not to be mentioned said that the problem had even stopped working. She said that about 40 passengers were eventually taken off the train and walked about 200 meters along the track to waiting cabs.

Network Rail confirmed that it had brought in two buses and two minibuses to get travelers to their destination just after 5 pm after the breakdown.
