ÚN.- Julio Cortázar, writer, translator and Argentinian intellectual, would complete 104 years today.

He was born in 1914 and is considered one of the great figures of Latin American American literature that earned international interpreters of the continent in the sixties.

The big cronopio stood out because of his attitude, his green eyes and the cigar that accompanied his mouth.

Rayuela, one of his most famous works, was translated into 30 different languages. Among his best known books are: History of cronopios and famas, Bestiario, 62 Modelo para armar, La isla a mediodía and other stories, among others.

Cortázar is one of the most important and innovative Latin American writers of his time.
