MP sentenced Canadian and Colombian prisoners to 24 years in prison for transporting cocaine by plane

(Caracas, 24 August 2018) After the accusation filed by the Public Prosecutor, Canadian David Sawasky (56) and Colombian Jorge Bustamante (36) were sentenced to 24 years in prison for their responsibility in transporting drugs to Via an airplane, on February 22, 2013, at the airport "General de Oswaldo Guevara Mujica", located in Acarigua, municipality Páez of the Portuguese state.

The persecution 1to of Portuguesa accused the foreign crew members for the crimes of illegal transport of narcotic and psychotropic substances, association, transportation of dangerous goods and fraudulent acquisition of routes, the latter two provided for in the Civil Aviation Act.

Before the means and organs exposed by the fiscal representation, the Court 3 ° of the judgment of the llanero-state dictated the said sentence, which Sawasky and Bustamente will fulfill in the Fenic Penitentiary Community, in the state of Lara.
