The government inspects the sale of tickets in Caracas Metro

During a tour of the La Hoyada station, accompanied by the Minister of Transport, Hipólito Abreu, the vicemandataria supervised the operation of turnstiles, stairs and lockers to ensure the quality of the service in the entire underground system.

"In response to the strategic line on public services led by President Nicolás Maduro, we have inspected the Caracas Metro payment system to adapt it to the program of economic recovery, growth and prosperity," Rodríguez said on the social network Twitter.

The Ministry of Transport underlined through a message on the communication platform that the Bolivarian government is working on increasing the mobility of the Venezuelan population in the field of safety, maintenance and social responsibility.

More than two million people move daily through the Caracas Metro, the main means of transport used by the working class in the capital of Venezuela.

The company reported that 382 militia members joined the security deployment of the transport network, along with police officers and members of the Bolivarian National Guard.
