Oswaldo Guillén, manager of the Tiburones de La Guaira, was suspended for two meetings by the board of the Venezuelan professional baseball league (LVBP).

The bureau has applied the sanction for violation of the provisions in the numbers 3 and 6 of article 21 of the Code for ethics and discipline of the LVBP.

Guillén will keep this sanction from Tuesday, when La Guaira receives the Navegantes del Magallanes at the Estadio Universitario de Caracas.

The strategist was punished for asserting angrily against Luis Gonzalez, the third basic referee, during the November 3 commitment to Magallanes.
