Flights not influenced by pope

Flights to Dublin airport are not expected to be disrupted by the arrival of Pope Francis this weekend, according to the daa.

The daa confirmed that the flights at Dublin Airport are not expected to be affected by Pope Francis' visit to Ireland on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 August.

There will be a series of road closures in Dublin over the weekend and passengers are advised to take this into account and plan their trip to and from Dublin Airport accordingly.

Transport providers, including Aircoach and Airlink 747 services, operate their normal services on Saturdays and Sundays, but there are some detours.
