A DRAMATIC week for Dynamos ended yesterday with the supporters of the club to waste money on the lost son Denver Mukamba in Barbourfields.
Mukamba scored the winning goal for Dynamos after Quality Kangadze opened the score for the visitors in the first half of this Castle Lager Premier Soccer League game.
The fans of DeMbare also greet defender Phakamani Dube for this great show.
On the other hand, home coach Bekithemba Ndlovu wondered what he needed to do to achieve a first win and thus his first victory as Bulawayo City gaffer.
"The performance of the team is very good, but it is an everyday number: very good performance but not winning, we will still do our best to win games, but in terms of performance I do not reject the boys, my boys they fight they want a victory, but it does not come our way, we will do our best in the next game, "said Ndlovu.
Amakhosi has now lost six games in a row with five of those defeats that came under Ndlovu's watch after the departure of former coach Amini Soma-Phiri.
City ended the match with 10 players in the park, midfielder Sipho Ndlovu earned a straight red card from referee Thabani Bhamala towards the end of the first half after he had kicked in Dynamos skipper Ocean Mushure.
Amakhosi remains second from bottom with 15 points chosen from four wins and three draws. They have tasted 18 times this season.
Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa was very happy that his team was able to win a victory despite sloppy preparations that did not really improve their journey to Bulawayo.
"A week full of drama, a week in which the young people did not get training, you only do (warm-ups) before you travel to Bulawayo, and then come for a competition, we say thumbs to the youth, we have collected three points under bad preparations, "said Mutasa.
Dynamos were the better team in the first half, with the Glamor Boys taking the lead by Kangadzi who riffled in a Mushure free kick.
Mukamba doubled DeMbare's lead five minutes after the break – Kudakwas that the Kumwala did well to get past Zephania Ngodzo, step into the box and set up his teammate.
Bulawayo City got their goal with another 30 minutes to go. The home team was given a free kick outside the box when Jimmy Tigere pushed Toto Banda. Crispen Ncube fired the ball past Simbarashe Chinana and from then on the city dominated completely, but their pressure did not yield a goal with Dynamos for the precious three points.
The final whistle signaled cheering scenes under the Blue Army that immediately handed over money to Mukamba and Dube.
