CRISTIANO RONALDO said it was an easy decision to leave Real Madrid for Juventus, as he recommends only becoming the second player to win the Champions League with three different clubs.
"I want to win the Champions League with Juventus and we will do everything we can to win it", said the 33-year-old Portuguese superstar in an interview with the streaming broadcaster DAZN.
Ronaldo has lifted a record of five Champions Leagues titles – four at Real Madrid and one at Manchester United.
Another player with Juventus would see him take part in the Dutch great Clarence Seedorf, the only player who won the top European trophy with three different clubs.
Seedorf won four times the European title – with Ajax, Real Madrid and twice with AC Milan between 1995 and 2007.
"We will focus on that, with my teammates, but without obsessing, we go step by step and then we will see if this is this year, next year or the year after that", continued Ronaldo, who signed an agreement between two and half a year has agreed to become the first worldwide ambassador of DAZN.
"The goal of the club is to win the League, Coppa Italia and of course do our best in the Champions League."
Seven-time Serie A champions Juventus have raised the Champions League twice – 1985 and 1996 – but have finished twice in the last four seasons.
Ronaldo earned a standing ovation from the Turin public when he scored a spectacular overhead in the Allianz stadium for Real Madrid last season.
"The small details make the big difference at the end of the day so … I would say that what I saw in the stadium helped (his move)," said Ronaldo.
"And, of course, when the people started to applaud me in the stadium, I thought & wow; & # 39; wow & # 39;
"It surprised me a lot because it never happened in my life, so it was an incredible moment."
The five-time winner of Ballon d & # 39; Or said he was impressed by his new club since joining a deal of 100 million euros last month.
"I am very happy, the team is strong and Juve, as everyone knows, is one of the best clubs in the world," continued the Portuguese captain.
"I am positively surprised, we train twice a day, I like how they train, their mentality, they have special methods, they are very professional and that's why I feel good.
"There are things in life that seem to be dictated by fate and in this case it was so.
"I never expected to play in this team, but some things happen of course, for me it was an easy decision, what was done in Madrid is incredible, I won everything, my family lives there, but it is a part of it past.
"I want to try to write the story in this club."
In the meantime Ronaldo revealed that his eight-year-old son Cristiano Jr was also a promising footballer.
"He is very competitive, he is like me as a child, he does not like to lose.
"He'll be like me, I'm 100 percent sure, I'd like to teach him some things, but eventually he'll choose what he's going to do and he'll always have my support.
"But of course I would like him to become a player because I think he also has a passion for it."
