HMD Global has started to launch the most anticipated phone on August 21, while FlipKart exclusive, Nokia 6.1 Plus is expected



HMD Global is ready to launch its launch in India on August 21st. Although the company still needs to confirm the device, chances are that Nokia 6.1 Plus is coming. Nokia has bullied the upcoming smartphone by calling it "the most awaited phone" for quite some time. With only one day left before the launch, HMD Global announced that the upcoming Nokia phone – possibly the Nokia 6.1 Plus – will be exclusive to Flipkart. The landing page of the Nokia phone on Flipkart shows only the silhouette of the phone. It also does not reveal the name of the upcoming Nokia phone.

The support page of the Nokia 6.1 Plus has been live on the Nokia India website for quite some time. Not only that, the worldwide variant of the Nokia 6.1 Plus was also spotted on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications suggest that it is ready for the global launch. HMD Global has been teasing the phone for a while. The teaser shows a silhouette of what the Nokia 6.1 Plus could be, along with the hashtag #BringItOn.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus – previously launched in Hong Kong – is the first HMD Global phone with a toothed display. It also features a full glass design. In terms of specifications, the Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with a 5.8-inch FHD + screen with a resolution of 1080x2280p and a 19: 9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset, linked to 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, which can be expanded to 256 GB via a microSD card.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus is an Android One device. This means that the phone stock Android Oreo has out-of-the-box with a promise for timely security updates and Android 9 Pie and Android Q in the future. The smartphone comes with a dual camera setting, consisting of a primary 16-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, the Nokia 6.1 Plus has a 16-megapixel sensor with f / 2.0 aperture. The Nokia 6.1 Plus also comes with a number of AI support that helps improve image quality and bokeh effect. The smartphone is supported by a 3.060mAh battery with support for fast charging via USB Type-C.
